What Are Bots Costing Your Business?

Tuesday, August 17th 2021 14:35 GMT / 15:35 CET

About this event

We know that malicious bots cost businesses millions of dollars every year, but quantifying the cost of this activity is challenging. As our research in 2020 discovered, not all businesses are aware of bots or fully understand the threat to their businesses.

We wanted to understand more clearly how much bots are costing businesses—and what businesses are doing to mitigate this cost.

In collaboration with independent B2B research specialists Coleman Parkes, we surveyed 440 businesses based in the USA and UK across travel, entertainment, eCommerce, telecommunications and financial services to understand what bots are costing businesses in various industries. Businesses surveyed had turnovers ranging from $350m to over $7bn.

In this webinar, we take a deep dive into what the survey revealed about the real cost of malicious bot activity to businesses across the globe.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • How bot operators are taking advantage of a pandemic world
  • How bots are financially impacting businesses
  • How different types of bots affect different industries
  • How to minimize and mitigate the cost of serving malicious bots
